Hey Guys,
I've owned a Volvo S60R for over a couple of years and I love it but just wondering why it doesn't get more love. I mean every car has its faults, but with 300 hp, 295 lb, and under 3600lb curb weight, why isn't a more obvious choice? I bought it for $8k and it's been extremely reliable. Yes the engine is transversely mounted and it hangs over the front wheels, yes the AWD drivetrain is initially front wheel drive bias, but the car is really an incredible performer for the money.

We just had a thread about this car recently either newly made or bumped. People talk about it all the time. You probably don't see it around since they didn't make a lot of them.

lol no I suck in Michigan. Land of the domestics. Land of the Chevy Malibu. When I lived on the east coast I hardly saw them there either.
H, it's a PNW thing. We have volvos, jags old and new, vw and subarus for the young kids, Audi and Porsche for the wealthy. Then there's the gold mine I've been preaching about forever, we have a mass of old Datsun, Toyota, mg, Alfa, Austin, triumph, Opel, and every other weird oddity you can think of here. Hardly any rust despite the insane amount of rain.
