What's wrong with me?!? I want to buy another car!

With a pocket full of cash from selling the Bronco and the Cobra I found myself poring over craigslist instead of Home Depot. I want an AMX bad, but they are out of the question unless I sell the Boxster. Or sell the Boxster and 5 and buy a Tesla Mdel S P85+ 7-seater. Or just buy a GTO and sell nothing. Finance a Shelby GT350? I really want to drag race, do I just buy a bracket car? Call Grandpa and get his Super Gas AMX? But then I have to sell the 5 and buy a Lexus Land Cruiser and a trailer. Ooooh, if I had one of those I could buy a boat!

It never stops!!

There's at least 20 cars I'd like to own at all times. But not at the cost of giving up what I currently own. I just want to have them all.

$12,500 as is with spares (second set of Turbo Twists, full set of headlights and taillights, JRZ shocks). 00 Boxster S 6-speed manual, clean title, silver/blue/blue, Koni's, all new control arms, RE71R's, replaced IMS, clutch, and transaxle with paperwork.

Glad you finally sold the Cobra so I can stop doing mental gymnastics trying to figure out how to buy it.

That' me.  Right now I'm in a similar situation - a bank balance that could almost allow me to buy any car I could realistically want.  But I don't really have the time nor space to enjoy what I have now.  Changing the mix of the fleet won't fix that.  What WOULD help my situation (well... once I'm not working 350 miles from home) is building a shop.  And now that I'm buying the lift I had hoped to put IN that shop, the shop build has definitely moved up the priority list a few lines.

Well after flipping 2-3 cars a year, for 17 years, I decided to put a stop to it. Gave up my manhood, and forced myself to drive our Mazda5 DD. It lasted 8 months. Last 11 months, dumped the Mazda5 (took 3 days to sell), bought a FJ Cruiser, ANOTHER MR2, and a GSR- Integra 4 door.  Didn't sell anything except the Mazda5. 

Addiction is strong, and I need a hit always. 

Welp, I just bought a car that I have no room for and no money to fix it with. So, I guess I've got the GRM sickness for sure.

I am looking at this at the moment plus another Porsche stashed around back of the house and I was just an hour ago discussing with my wife the merits of another car purchase. 
 

Javelin the only problem I am seeing with your situation is that you have not purchased one yet. 

I'm down to 16 from 24, doing my best to shrink my collection, c'mon someone buy C30 so I can buy another one.

Wait I bought another Prius 2 days ago.    I call it a hobby, my wife calls it something else, her comment was 'you're all about the hunt',

and indeed, finding a cool uncommon car for cheap is my thrill.  (OK, the prius was not in this category..oops)

I've had rotary, inline-4, flat-4, inline-6, V6, flat-6, V8, V12, turbocharged, supercharged, and ported rotary. FF, FA, FR, MR orientations.

Huh. I guess I need a Dodge Viper and a Renault Alpine A110 next to tick off boxes I haven't had...
