I finally cut bait with my WRX after 170k miles. Loved the car but after a decade of hard driving it was just nickle-and-diming me to death and throwing emissions codes I couldn't solve (and we have emissions inspections here annually). So a day before my inspection was due I unloaded it and got something new. I had planned to go another year or two in this car but it just got to be too clunky and too much work. I like working on my project cars, not my daily driver.....
