I wonder if they are still in buisness.... I haven't bought from them in a while..
I have this place in my bookmarks, I've never used them myself...

See if any oval tracks by you run Nascar tour style modifieds, After the race walk through the pits and ask for used left side tires(they will be softer than right sides). Soak in softener and enjoy.
Before you go shopping, keep in mind that the rules specify DOT tires for auto-x.

Great link!
i can't believe how fast the response is on this forum. thanks for all the responses, thanks for the DOT reminder cause i wasn't thinking about that. I don't have any tires yet cause i am still trying to find something to fit these monsters. Now where can I find DOT tires that will fit ????
There are also a couple advertisers in the last page or two of the October GRM magazine that sell used race tires. I don't have the issue on hand to add their info to this thread, though.

None of us have jobs. See if you can find a buddy to sell you a set of steelies for $10 (I'd do it if you were closer.) This will open up some more options for you on tires. With Nationals coming up, now would be a good time to start lurking on your local Solo II forums.
Hoosier has a line of Pro Street tires that will fit the rims, if not your budget. http://www.hoosiertire.com/strttire.htm
