For my project I need a set of pedals(and masters).
I need reverse mount, hanging style. I want to run dual masters on the brake with a balance bar. Also need a gas pedal.
They need to be steel not aluminum.
I know of Tilton and Wilwood, are there other players in the game?
I'm looking for the most economical option
I have a Miata gas pedal that should be perfect for you. $15.00 shipped.
I also have a Miata brake and clutch pedal assembly but they go the wrong way for you.
Browse Jegs and/or Summit...
Like this, for example
Or perhaps this
Why steel, if I may ask? You're limiting your options severely there...

Usually cheaper than summit, they supply the circle track guys.
They should have Tilton or Wilwood as well.

The problem is finding the steel pedal portion. Tilton makes one, but many of the retailers don't seem to carry it.
I need steel, as we may have to modify the pedals a bit to fit the space.
Speedway does have a gas pedal I can use.
Summit and Jegs have a lot, but only seem to carry the aluminum for some reason.
An of course I was hoping someone here might have a used one sitting around they wanted to get rid of.
Miata stuff doesn't work, I've checked it out already, but thanks for the offer.
If Tilton makes it, you can probably order it from Summit or Jegs. They have stuff in their computer that isn't listed on the web site or in the catalog. I've ordered oddball stuff like that from one of them before. Just call them up and ask. It will help if you have the OEM part number.
I have an aluminum Tilton pedal set for the Locost. Bought it used on http://www.race-cars.com/partbd/wwwboard.htm .
added that site to my bookmark list....very cool site. Kind of like a craigslist for racers. Thanks!
I've used parts from SCP when making my own pedal assemblies. All steel, and you do the welding yourself, scroll down to the bottom of the page for pieces/parts for the GRMer:

Their catalog is worth having around too.
Yeah, I try real hard to stay away from that site. My Tilton 3 MC pedal set with the balance bar was like $150 or so, if I recall.

I like the looks of that, I'm wondering if I could turn that into a reverse mount without much effort.
nevermind, I just thought that through and it can't work, I would need pull type master cylinders.
Long shot: see if a nearby boneyard has an X 1/9, they have pedal assemblies made as you describe. Also Spitfires have that kind of setup, but you would need to do some fabricating with either of these. Worth a look.
I actually just bought the pivioting parts and balance tubes and such and used a flat bar for the arm. For what you're looking for you could cut a slot in the top of the channel and just extend the pedal arms out the top, then weld the master cylinder plate on as required. If you have a clear idea of what you're looking for you can get the tight tolerance parts and go from there. Something as wierd as you are looking for you might have to make some stuff yourself to keep costs down.
