My 18 year old son works at a local car auction where many of the big dealerships in western 'burbs of Atlanta bring their cars.  They get everything from junkyard-ready E36 M3boxes to $250,000 cars.  Having him work there, it was only a matter of time before something happened.

Well...this just happened.  Obligatory gas station picture:

He knows the selling dealer and talked him into selling it to me for peanuts.  It runs and drives terrific.  Interior is outstanding...someone even put a really nice stereo with back up camera in it.  I plan to get a new hood ornament and new faux woodgrain.  Add fake Christmas tree to the roof and hit a local rally.  Anyone have a lead on where I can get faux woodgrain without paying more than I spent on the car?

P.S. yes, it has the rear facing third row

If you wanted to last a while look for 6 or 8 year life cycle materials from Avery Dennison.  I don't think it's gonna be a lot of material needed so might be worth it.

I've used Rwraps with great success.  Not cheap, but this could be the going rate and I just don't know it.

I would expect that 3M, Avery, and Vvivid all have automotive woodgrain.

How are the moldings around the wood? I think they are the vulnerable part.

Teak wood grain vinyl from Vvivid   The product discription says for indoor use but then the customer supplied photos show automotive use.

The original stuff was most likely 3M Di-Noc.
