Looking for some new shoes for my Dodge Viper - I want to keep the stock wheels which means I am looking at 275/40R17 for the fronts and 335/35R17s for the rear.

I don't race the car, I need a good summer tire that is OK in the rain and wet and will return good highway manners.

Discount Tire has them pretty cheap but out of stock.

Tire rack is another $10 more on the fronts and another $100 more on the rears.

What am I missing?  Brands?  Vendors?

Michelin PS4S is a great choice for that, Continental ECS would be as well, Conti ECF could be a good choice too but is a bit more track-oriented and not so great in the rain (compared to the PS4S or ECS which have tremendous wet grip, but the ECF still isn't bad in the rain overall)

You may have trouble getting anyone to price match a price that can't be ordered. That Discount Tire price may be out of date and not reflecting the cost of current inventory.

It never hurts to ask through the message feature anyways....

$1445 from Discount Tire (they have them in stock to ship just not at the store)

$1805 from Tire Rack.

Both prices are out the door, shipping, taxes, etc included

Tire Rack won't price match.  Online chat agent was rude.  Who gets my business?

Seems like an absolute no brainer? Have bought dozens of tires from DTD on ebay. Do it.
