I'm a mentor on a FIRST Robotics team that has been invited to travel to the World Competition next week at the George R. Brown Convention Center. We're trying to figure out how to get all of our gear out there since we're flying, and we've got it within 20 miles. Shaw Industries (a huge carpet company that has a distribution center in Houston) will carry it out to their DC at 7401 Security Way, Jersey Village, TX 77040. We'll need to load in next Wednesday from 12-4 pm, then get someone to pick it up and carry it back to the DC after the tournament is over. The event ends on Saturday, but pick up would possibly be Sunday or Monday. We may end up having to rent a truck, but I thought I'd see if there was anyone available that might could help us out.
