Ain't nobody slippin' offa that truck Not even if you stand on the side somehow.
Wait, is "DULLY" meant to describe the truck, or the person who did that to it?
Would make a good civilian emergency response truck.
If he'd just used regular flat sheet metal on the sides instead this thread would be titled "Nice dually with cool custom-fabbed bed on Craigslist"
Not a fan of the side being DP, but I do like the floor and flares of the bed.
Diamond plate has it's uses. This truck is why I think I hate diamond plate. Its used in the worst ways.
The big lip around the perimeter and the shallowness of the bed make it look like it would be difficult to load up after a trip to Home Depot.
Diamond plate is really overdone these days...I keep hoping it will go out of fashion, along with flat black paint jobs.
Dammit, my challenger has diamond (aluminum) plate interior, it was cheap.
I've seen a lot worse on Craigslist.

I would wager that a substantial portion of that truck's load capacity is used up just lugging the empty bed around.
The back's riding pretty high and that's probably aluminum diamondplate that replaced steel...

Then you'd have hated the flat-black aluminum diamond-plate half-doors I made for my Samurai!
Woah! Diamond plate AND a Grant Challenger wheel? All it is missing is some Mossyoak camo to complete the redneck trifecta.

In that case, I hope he backprimed everywhere that touches the steel frame and bodywork with a ton of mastic, or else the entire bed assembly is going to be sitting in a ditch about 5 years from now, no longer connected to the truck.
I would bet it's not aluminum. Aluminum is a bitch to paint for your average redneck.
I kinda like it. Not sure about in person, however.

On a one ton 4X4 Dodge, that might be enough weight to keep it from shaking your fillings out. That truck will beat you to death without a substantial load on the back.
That looks like it may have been a fire truck bed at one time and it just doesn't have the boxes on it now. Our fire department has one just like that.

Is the bed floor made from Trex?

I guess he isn't a Colin Chapman fan.

It does look like it. He's put some work into it, even if his decorating is questionable. I think it'd be fun.
