lol. I don't care about name brand wheels I would be fine with rotas. The claims of them are breaking are imo overblown. I've actually seen a Volk TE37 break, funny enough. A OEM Porsche wheel as well. 1/2 the people with cheap cars out there are on rotas and i've never seen one of those break.
If I wanted forged wheels I would just buy someone's used ones and if they are not in the best condition have them refurbished. Especially if I was driving a Nissan because they and Nismo has released multiple different forged wheels over the years on their cars both stock and aftermarket. GTR wheels fit most nissans, for example, and are forged and good looking. I bet you could find similar wheels EASILY for the Miata.
In reply to Feedyurhed: I am under the assumption that Magnesium is an expensive metal, so anything made from it will be more expensive than stainless steel or aluminum.
Those motorcycle wheels are also extremely small run stuff. And they're crazy light.
