I use my phone for a lot of message board surfing. It's a pain to use the full GRM website. All my other boards are available in Tapatalk (and I assume other phone-based board apps).
What gives with GRM?

A mobile site that works well without paying for an app.
short answer, because the GRM board doesn't use commercially available forum software which integrates with TapTalk. It is an in-house built forum software.

on a side note, the mobile site often is still functioning during outages to the PC version.
