The 3/4" Wilwood master cylinder for the rear brakes in the race car was hanging up resulting in a little rear brake drag and the front one didn't look so great. As they'd sat w/ old fluid from 2008 'til I got the car this spring, and since they're like $50, I got new ones from Jegs.

I'm about to refill the system, and the car has had AP600 in it forever and I was told to use it by the car's previous "mechanic".

Any preference for AP600 over the Motul equivalent? FWIW, it's about 1200# wet w/ driver and has 4 piston calipers on all 4 corners. It's very easy on pads, which are Performance Friction 01s. Tires are Hoosier bias slicks 7x13F, 9x13R.

as long as its the same type of fluid, then its all compatable AFAIK. I forget the odd one out I think its DOT 5.1 but thats about all thats not compatable.

DOT 5 is the incompatible one with a silicone base. DOT 5.1 meets the same temperature requirements but is compatible with other fluids.
