I have heard that the dryer sheets don't always work, so when I stored my S2000 I used peppermint oil soaked cotton balls tossed all around the interior, cabin air filter, and airbox. It is WAYYY to strong for the little rodents to handle, and you get the plus side of smelling like peppermint long after you have broken it back out of storage.

The mothball smell soaks into the car and stays there for months. I actually like the smell of mothballs, so to me this is a good thing. Most other folk can't stand to get within 20 feet of my car though, let alone ride it in.

And it makes you reek of mothballs all day when you get out of the car.
