I want chassis braces, not sway bars & the seller hasn't answered any of my questions. On the other hand, $129 won't break me if I'm wrong. I just don't like that they come from Malaysia and are probably a bitch to return if they suck (or are, in fact, sway bars)

The listing says nothing about sway bars, and the picture is pretty clear...but it would appear that the listing is only for the miniature two-point bar that braces the sides of the center tunnel, not the four-point bar that may actually do something. Seems like a total waste of money. These guys make a bunch of overpriced, useless braces for BMWs as well. I doubt you'll get sway bars, but why does the center tunnel need a miniature brace anyway?

If you expand the description, it explains how sway bars work. Taken directly from the listing, "Anti Roll Bars (also known as anti-sway bars) affect the handling of the car on the lower end of suspension" They're also listed under the "suspension parts...sway bars" category

Coming from the guys who wrote this: "To soft the chassis flex problem and improve the handling, the Ultra Racing's chassis strengthen parts is born, we will explain how this product works on you car. The stronger chassis, the better handling."

I bet it's just a weird translation thing...or they just use one listing template for everything they sell. The pics are pretty clearly not sway bars, but the question is whether the actual product is different than the pic. If you really want to take the chance, PayPal is great for getting your money back as long as the seller says they'll accept returns. Still, if that is indeed the miniature center brace the ad seems to say it is, I wonder what its benefit would be anyway...

I read the description as for the small middle bar.

Porsche Boxster 986 Middle Lower Bar

Item Codes :UR-ML2-1104

Weight : 0.3 KG

Dimension :28cm3.5cm3cm

That's too small and light to be the larger rear brace pictured. Seems like a rip off for $129

Thank you! Once again, the GRM brain trust saved me money!

Lol thats pretty good, but far from the best eBay Chinglish I've seen. I really wish I would have taken a screen shot of the listing for one of those electric supercharger dingles I came accross. Claimed to boost engine "torque powers" 120% or some such nonsense.
