WWGrmD? 1987 Porsche 911 project

Almost like the tree was trying to poke you in the eye just to annoy you. 

Dodged a big one.  Rear glass for 911 is now proving difficult to source.

When you said it was a red 911, I was interested.  When you mentioned it was from the air-cooled ear, I got excited.

But when I saw that it's sitting on Phone Dials?  That's when I knew you should build it.  This tree colliding with it is just details.

Seriously though, it seems like an awesome project, and from the sounds of things you aren't miles away from the finish.  I wish I could come help.

Nice house! You really dodged a bullet with that tree. You know it was going for the Tahoe. Those things are cursed around here. Next a car will come flying off the street and hit it.

Lol...phone dials are for rolling it around.  Although they are suprisingly light 15 in begging for rally rubber.  Have 16 in fuchs and 17 rota fox finished RSR style.

I'm also in for coming down for  thrash. Could do with getting out of NY for a few days and I always seem to miss out on the fun GRM get-togethers.

True story - first time I stopped by Jim's house  and I see his 911 on jack stands in the driveway, I almost fell out my van I was laughing so hard. I told him "You know you've found a nice neighborhood in Mississippi when they have a Porsche on blocks in the driveway!"

You laughed even harder when you note my 2 1/2 garage only had a $500 piece of E36 M3 corvette in it with all my "good" cars in the drive way.
