I'll be renting a trailer from uhaul and cruising to the event in highly inefficient comfort next weekend Thanks for the advice everyone!

Awesome tow rig!! I love those 'Burbs, specially when they are packing a 454.

Yes, I'll be renting the uhaul auto transport- not interested in the liability associated with putting a car on anything but a car trailer. Our local (non-uhaul) rental places primarily cater to contractors moving equipment, so uhaul is the cheapest locally for anything more than a day.

Up here in Canuckland, if the wheels are touching the ground, the car has to be registered/insured. Is this different in the US?

Also, a uhaul rental trailer should only be about $50 per day? Not $180!

Reading comprehension. FWIW, I'm spending ~$115 to rent from Friday night through Sunday night.

Here in the US, it varies by state, but many do require any vehicle with wheels on the road surface to be registered.

My apologies, completely missed that and is much more reasonable!
