In place of the factory engine is a 1.6-liter inline-four from a Mazda Miata, with a turbocharger added for good measure.

Interesting, it's actually a BugEye nose on a box Sprite......which I think is a great combination myself. One of the biggest problems with a Bugeye is not having a trunk lid, and this fixes that.
