Cop shocks, cop brakes? 

I refuse to acknowledge that movie ever existed.

You know, I never saw it, either. 

I am a fan of the original. The true one. 

In fact, I just shared this clip with a friend the other day.

If that really is one of the cars used in the movie, I know the person that built it. and kept it running for the filming sequences.  I think he did mention that Aykroyd took the car with him at the end of filming.

Huge fan of the original, have the "special edition" DVD with deleted scenes.  Drove through Chicago humming the music during the chase scene.

I honestly can't remember if I ever saw this movie.  I still don't feel the need to watch it.

With all the dirt and grime on it, you'd never know from the picture that it has aluminum heads and intake.  (I suspect that $15k is actually the all-in price they paid to have the engine and trans built and installed, not $15k in performance parts.)

Coworker and I discussed this movie once and we listed the "stars" that were in it - quite an impressive group in that movie.  

I admit it. I'd prefer the original Blues Brothers, too. However, having a car from one of those movies would be awesome.

This is very local to me, I have seen this car. It is cool!

Totally an all-star cast in the first one. Also making appearances in the original Blues Brothers and sometimes overlooked: Chaka Khan and the late Paul Reubens.

I found some Snap-on sockets in my dads toolbox and he said he'd pick them up at Maxwell Street when he and my grandfather would visit in the 1950's/1960's.  

You had to check everything as the vendors did try to "cheat you fair"

And a Maxwell Street Polish Sausage sandwich with grilled onions?  Whoa!

That scene of the Blues Brothers driving down Maxwell Street holds a lot of history.

It was once a Jewish garment district selling the extra and non-selling clothes on Sunday, not being the Sabbath day.  One gentlemen has a yellow jacket on noting his synagogue from Skokie, Il (northern suburb).  Many of the sellers were selling suits, shirts, pants and clothes in general. 

Being Sunday the gospel and blues groups set up to bring some church to the day. Add in the smell of the food and it was an event.  

When you owned something sketchy or shoddy the response from family was; where did you buy that shirt? Maxwell Street?
