Not a replica or a tribute, but a genuine piece of Rad-era Japanese racing history.

Most notably, this Nissan Silvia was driven by Japan Grand Prix winner Moto Kitano in the first round of the 1984 Japan Supersport Sedan (JSS) series.

Similar to Group A racing but with slightly more flexible regulations, JSS welcomed wide fenders and big aero more commonly associated …

I know, right? My brother had a 200SX. The AE86 is a world treasure while the S12 is almost forgotten.

I bought a 1985 new - kept it nine years.  There was not a lot of aftermarket parts except HKS and they seemed pricey at the time.

Nice car for the era but now it's too futuristic to me like the 300ZX and that Subaru SVX thing.

Nice to see the S12 love. My brother’s was white over blue–very ’80s.

I upgraded from a 1980 1.4 liter, carb, 4-speed Datsun 310GX to a 1985 Nissan 200SX with a better engine and a 5-speed.

This was a big deal to me to get a more sports oriented car.  In the end the 200SX was sporty rather than a performance car.

Here's the sticker for your entertainment. (OHC, fuel injected, 5-speed manual, 15" wheels, 4-wheel disc brake, rack/pinion steering and an independent rear axle similar design as the Z car and 510 with factory front and rear sway bars).

Then Nissan released a V6 version with 5 lug wheels and a better suspension - '86-'87?  That was a sweeter ride......
