Cool car!
And wow that engine looks hard to work on! I didn't realize that about this gen Civic.

its definitely wedged in there, unfortunately this was the solution Honda came up with to keep the length down but interior space maxed out with that front windshield waaaay out over the engine bay. the good news i guess, is that Honda knew this would be rough on servicing so they made it easy, if not fast, to yank the cowl off and totally open the top of the bay up. i've had to do it a couple times to do a valve cover gasket, plugs, valve adjustment, etc.
super fun little cars but for my money i'd put that rotrex kit up on marketplace and stick a roots unit on there for better midrange and maybe a bit more reliability.
Shout out to Andrew, Noah and the crew at Adrenaline Automotive. Top notch shop, you can ensure that everything was done right.
It's really not that bad to work on these. Worst case the car comes off the engine relatively easily.

Very nice and I bet a hoot to drive! However, I did not need to see this! Just bought this ride for my youngest daughter. A 2011 with 166k miles too! Completely unmolested. What to do, what to do?
