I'm with Angry on this. Those wheels are absolutely horrible. They need to be buried somewhere so they dont show up on a different car.

That's the thing, they are so over the top they detract from the car. A set of gold 16" BBS RS would be perfect.

I don't think so. Perfectly normal BBS mesh wheels have been going on VWs for decades. Somebody went to extra effort to build those abominations on purpose.
To fit THOSE centers they had to, they could have built some from a smaller back pad set so they didn't look ridiculous instead.
Imagine what they could have looked like (not BBS but you get the idea)
We're all different. I never liked this wheel type - not because it looks bad, but because I can't help but imagine how much suck there is to clean them.

There is that. You have to be careful about choosing brake pads that don't generate a lot of dust.
I thought the wheels on the truck that dherr is looking at were bad. Those might be the worst wheels I've ever had to expose my eyeballs to.
