(Saw this on Jalopnik and sounded fun)

Can you find an advertisement for your first car? Youtube video, brochure, commercial, whatever. I'm sure for some it will be easy, for others it might be a search. I found mine fairly quick:

1977 Pontiac Grand Prix, bought home on leave just after boot camp Dec 1985. $1000 from a parent's friend who's wife couldn't drive anymore for medical reasons. I drove the E36 M3 out of that car in the Navy around the country.

This is an official Ford photo of the 1987 LX 5.0, which was my first car. Mine was this color, but a notchback instead of hatchback.

Mine was a 1992 coupe, but close enough:

Fun! This was mine, all the way down to the color scheme. With an elegant formal vinyl roof, how could you go wrong?

(if you want to see full size - click here)

Mine was a green that officially was never put on the T-bird. It was apparently a '71 midsize color.

The '72-76 Thunderbird was a Torino with extra wheelbase. I bought it because 429-4V.

(And very, very fortunately it did NOT have power leather seats! It was apparently a base model car. Cloth manual seats, no options other than A/C. The PO put some sort of warm cam in it that made me think there was something wrong with every other mid-70s big block Ford I ever drove.

This isn't for the wagon, but it's as close as I could find.

Mine was 1200cc, auto. Put a hole in the block about the size of a quarter on the Northway on my way to visit a friend in Saranac Lake.

Second car was 79 non CVCC 1200 with 4 speed:

We called it the battle wagon. I can't imagine how I ever developed an automotive addiction after having this as my first car...

I have brochures and ads for almost every car I've owned, new or used. Last week, I bought a factory brochure for a '74 Subaru, a car that I sold in 1985. So, yeah, I guess I've got some stuff.

For the record, mine was an orange two door DL, and I inherited it, I didn't buy it.
