This project ticks all the right boxes: Wagon body, V6 power and big fender flares. Forum member maschinenbau is working on grafting together a modern V6-powered Infiniti and his 1980 Datsun 210 wagon, and doing it all on a tight budget to qualify for our $2018 Challenge on October 12-13. Check out the picture-heavy build thread for all the details.

I've seen this car in person. It truly is cool, and going to make a big splash at the challenge.

I like the welding magnet for a hood ornament, I say leave it there. Fits the spirit of a challenge car nicely. =)   Cool project!

Thanks! Anyone is welcome over to check it out and dive into the Datsaniti. There was a huge turnout for the build kickoff weekend last month, which is why so much progress has been made already.

I'm working it this weekend, especially Friday night and most of Saturday. PM me if you'd like to come by! I could definitely use more help. Located in southern Indiana.

Also, I feel I must add:

Fender mirrors.

That is all, thank me later. =)
