To be fair, the car does look hot with the wheel spacers. :)
Yeah yeah yeah. Talk about totally derailing the entire video.
I drove that car on a 2000 mile road trip two weeks before that shoot. No rub, not even once. On the way to meet Farah, it rubbed. Something about the nature of that road. I didn't have a chance to fix it. It was fixed an hour later in my hotel parking lot. Later, I get back to the office and discover that one of my coworkers knew about it and didn't do anything.
But now it's the only thing anyone will ever take away from a video of a sexy drop-top coupe with excellent handling and a California-legal turbo.
Here's the supercharged version.

It was the only road you drove on with a big dude in the driver's seat in addition to your weight in the passenger seat?
Edit: Oh, "On the way to meet Farah"...I shouldn't read so fast!
No, because I was alone on the way to meet him. Just like I had been on the road trip.
"The internet" is not a place or a thing. It's a medium. "The internet" is just people, most of who seem to become fairly shallow because they can't be bothered to put any time into their thoughts on "the internet".

The Internet? I think the world's been like that forever. See the dirty joke about the Scotsman who had built bridges and churches...

I always expected you to have a strong Canadian accent....
That was the main take away for me regarding this video...
Oh, and that car looks berkeleyING HAWT!

I think I'm going to print that, frame it, and hang it on my wall.

Too permanent. Maybe write it on a post-it, but that involves effort. Just post it to Facebook, that should be enough.
No framing needed here ,what I once Said about my Ex-wife "The Colonel" (really) on face book will forever be burned into my mind, and life.
but that has nothing to do with Keith's great looking Ride.
In reply to Keith Tanner :
What is you're personal preference regarding turbo VS. SC on the ND? I'm sure the weight is close but which is heavier?
Hopefully anyone with half a brain will realize that was a one off oversight because FM makes top shelf stuff. I thought you handled it very well.

I dunno, the comments section was gushing over you guys being nerdy about turbos.

I've never weighed the two of them, I suspect there isn't more than 10 lbs between the two. Shipping weight is almost identical - the supercharger box is 8 lbs heavier, but of course both kits also involve taking stock parts off.
Personally, I like the turbo. That big slug of torque is hard to ignore and it makes for a very quick little car on the street and the track. The super is nice enough, but if I wanted that sort of feel I'd probably go for a set of cams and valve springs instead. We had our RF set up that way for a while and it was really fun to wind out on track.
Personally, when i encounter tire rub i take that to mean i am finally close to hitting my goal of wheel fitment and right height and just have to 'tune it in' by messing with bumpstops and fender lips. I pretty much just look at it as part of a process. I certainly don't take it to mean that the car builder is inept, just that they're not done sorting the car. If the tires on your car have never rubbed that's fine but it probably also means that i personally wouldn't think it looks that great.

Meh, screen shot the page. Done.

Oh my God, I couldn’t agree more. (And needless to say, the car is amazing)
