youtube idea....

yes, its one of those ideas that you come up with when you really bored at work ideas.....sigh.....meybe i should get a life at work sometimes....

here is the idea, by i was thinking of a weekly car type program about 10 mitues or something because that all you can get away with there. the buget is really cheap...what that? i have a video camera and a computer and time to kill sometimes...if nothing else it might be something neat to do to promote myself as photographer or something....i know its just toying with the idea for something right now that would be super cheap to make and would be aimed at car type people for sure.... any ideas please tosse things out here..... ok just one thing that we need to keep in mind is any ideas have to stay pg13......

YouTube (or Vimeo) offers everyone an equal opportunity to do fun stuff like this. All you need is a camera, a computer, and something to say.

Production values aren't terribly high for most web video, so it sounds like you're covered for parts 1 and 2.

Part 3 seems to be the trick for most web shows like that. Having a format and regular topics will serve you well. There are some good ones out there for cake decorating (my wife's a pastry chef) but the car webcast thing seems to be open...for now.

Rule #1 for YouTube: If you really want to get a lot of viewers, somebody needs to get hurt or pee themselves. Maybe both.
