So the first outing for the Zoomboni didn't go so well. It had a lot of electrical gremlins that needed professional help to get sorted out.
BUT! The guy who is currently working on it has a set of race scales so he threw it on there to satisfy our curiosity. So for bragging rights and a million internet points, how much do we think it weighs?

I have been wondering how this thing was doing, BTW. You should update us on how the electrical stuff is going and what the problems have been.
In reply to Mr_Asa :
It backfired and loaded up something awful at it's first outing. I'd replaced the spark plugs already but apparently it had a bad plug wire and the distributor module had gone bad so timing was WAAAY off. The alternator was improperly wired and has never charged the battery so that took some sorting out (not by me, car wiring involves sacrificing a chicken to Jobu as far as I can tell).
It seems to still have a midrange misfire (not terrible) that appears to the mechanic to either be the computer or the distributor itself. Unfortunately the computer is crazy old/rare so that's causing some headaches.
The mechanic dude (lives waaay out in the coutry) who has a number of stupid fast fords and knows from performance. He took it down his street and declared it to be "scary fast" so it certainly has potential.
Something I learned at my first AX was that the normal technique of launch in 1st and shift to 2nd made the motor unhappy. (It's running a T-5 trans through a 4.3 torsen Miata rear end). It launches crazy hard in 2nd and pulls hard from 2,500 rpm so running the whole course in 3rd makes everything happier.
Glad to hear that it is getting sorted out.
Did the guy that fixed it say what was off with the alternator wiring?

I'm going low at 1200lbs.
I'm going high. Fox bodies aren't known to be lightweights.
