Craigslist find of the day was a '90 GPX750 (ZX750 Ninja) for $300. Titled, 24k, Vance & Hines pipe, mediocre paintjob and some busted fairing pieces. Dead battery & dirty carbs. I'm pretty pumped; I'm going to tear into it tomorrow and will try to post pics.
Sounds like it's been sitting. Have you worked on carbs for a bike before? After you rebuild them keep in mind they need to be synced. It'll run a bit funky until that's done no matter how good your carb rebuild was. Let us know how it works out for ya!
Yep, I've done a few sets - all parallel twins though, never had a 4-cylinder bike. Pics will await my fairing reconstruction, I've decided.
