I hope theres no reason for me to have to get up from my desk in the next couple of minutes...I wouldnt be able to stand upright or walk very fast, and it could actually result in my termination if the wrong people were to see my current condition.

your son has good taste!!!

All well & good, but looking up the skirt of a new ride lowers the price of the exiting one.

So does that mean it's being sold for $400?

If you were closer I'd be real tempted on the exiting bike.

What? 18 hours on a fabric covered 2X6 powered by a twin 450 is too much for you? Wus.

Taiden, I called to see what the price on the exiting bike is and the guy with the BMW has a boatload of bikes, always room for one more. He's going to swap the 450 for the R-100.

What???? Straight up deal? !!!

Ian said that's what the guy implied, but even if he has to pony up cash, it's easier for him.

He's taking the R-100 for a spin tomorrow, I'll let you know how it ends.

It'd more so be the trouble I'd be in when I got it home seeing as I just bought the Sportster 2 weeks ago.

The wife supports my madness but there are still some boundaries to consider.

I would still love to have the 650 project though.

Let me ease your troubled mine.... 650 lives in New Hampshire now.

I'm sure that's a good thing. I'll just continue to drool over the bikes on www.xs650chopper.com. I always have an eye out for a cheap 650.

He's swapping that R100 for your sons 450??

That's what it sounded like, I'll find out for sure this afternoon after Ian takes the R-100 for a scoot.

Ian said: The R-100 is a fine bike. It has fork connectors, new progressive springs front and back, steering damper, dellorto carbs, cocktail shaker mufflers at 45 degrees and OMFG torque. The lightened flywheel makes it spin up faster than any BMW I've seen and the sound is car alarm setting cool.

Taiden,
The guy with the BMW wants $3500 straight up or $2500 + Ian's 450.
Ian will sell you the 450 for $750 if you're interested.

Tell Ian that I really appreciate the offer, but as I am relocating to Charlotte tomorrow, I wouldn't be able to make it happen for a few months.
