As I said in the hot link thread.. If they made that I'd trade in my exploder and take that payment tomorrow. If it couldn't tow my camper I'd sell the camper. E36 M3ty mileage, bad ride....I don't care. I'd even rock the leather flower print seats.

I was coming in here to say this too. They've had more popular concepts that were based on existing platforms then any builder ever, yet none get built.
I feel like someone is going to make a kit. Maybe ICON can branch out into making new look old, instead of making old ride like new.

No... anyone but Icon. While their stuff is very nice, it's not nice enough to justify their prices.
The front end of a Wrangler just bolts on, no? So a kit for the front should be relatively simple to do. Then maybe a different top and rear door. I'd accept leaving the rear alone since that would be harder to change easily.
I agree with Ian f. Making the front fenders hood and grill fit the front of a current jeep gets you 90% of the way. The top seems like it would be pretty simple to fab as well. Especially if it has no side windows like the concept. But unless it could haul a car trailer and had glass windows all around it isn't different enough from a current jeep and I will pass.
Actually, the concept has glass windows that are removable I think.
EDIT. Okay, after some digging I see the removable sides mentioned, but no photos with them in place. It would completely block the rear doors, after all.
And looking at it - are the headlight/grill actually old stock that have been adapted to fit the Wrangler, or are they really full custom? If old tin could be used to make the kits, it might make it even easier. Although I wouldn't buy this as a kit, TBH. Not worth spending a crapload on top of the road-rape prices they want for used 4drs.
