For some reason I've been developing a mighty need for one of these. Looks like $5k ish buys a decent used one.
Thoughts?

Hmm, at least it looks like you'd have a harder time breaking yourself in that.
Speaking of which, stop shopping for vehicles while you're on Percoset.

Yes! That's the site that's been enabling me.
Just took another Percocet. On my way to the follow up appointment. I deserve to buy one if I get good news, right?
Looks like $5kish is the starting bid- what do they actually go for? I see these being driven in the Pine Barrens every time I'm there, they look incredibly capable off-road. The want is strong.
Tune in to "Dirt Every Day" on you tube. They're supposedly doing a full episode on one very soon. Like airing next week soon

You are correct. I know a certain host of said show and we were discussing LMTV last week as I was an engineer on this truck family some time ago. Stewart & Stevenson tried to market a version of the LMTV for high end off-road use but never found a market. As a family controlled company before it was bought by Armor Holdings then BAE, one of the family members who held most of the company stock had an LMTV upfitted for his duck hunting trips in TX and LA.

Also curious as to what they really go for. I'll guess I'll create a login for that site because if they really go that cheap I'm buying one. It'll look good beside my 5 ton.
You'll need to log in to post.
