It has happened; SWMBO has a uterine parasite (her words) and it is growing every day!
Some of you know my lovely wife, Ming, either through meeting her in Gainsville, regional auto-x or just hanging out talking cars. She is great to indulge my hobbies... So I really had nothing to say against the issue when she decided that it was time to add to the family.
Our fist child should come into the world sometime around Valentine's Day. I am very excited and happy, but also more than a little nervous and overwhelmed. Thankfully we have supportive family and friends to learn from and lean on when we need to. My health is not great but is fairly stable so I am somewhat confident in my ability to become "Mr. Mom" and raise up a young one in my image. I shall teach it of our ways and begin to hot rod a powerwheel sometime soon...
Since we are all friends here I am happy to share my good news with the group. I foresee a lot less racing in my near future, but the prospect of plastic toy tool sets sounds like it could be a lot of fun!
You infected her with your kooties?
They make a pill for that now.
To late for that, now he has to provide for the parasite. Way to go!

If that's the case, you should watch this educational film for new parents...

Sorry guys, no build thread...
She does often reference ALIEN, but I am not entirely certain that it happens exactly like that.
I need to start looking around for a suitable car seat that will fit in an e30.
^^ too late for that too.
EDIT
well it's NEVER too late...

I do, every once in a while, but variety is the spice of life...
SWMBO is doing well @ 4 months now. Nothing major to report, which is a good thing. Of course, we spend enough strategic time away from each other so as not to start scheming the others demise. I am planning to head down to the challenge in a couple of weeks and am working on a trip to The Ring soon.
Currently, most of my time has been spent packing up my old life and preparing for a new one. I am equal parts excited and terrified. Home renovations almost complete, about to order up all new furniture to make room for kids stuff. Sadly, the once fun toy of an e30 is now being refitted to make it reliable, safe and comfortable for family car duty...

If the rollercoaster's broke, they don't close the whole amusement park.
