The scariest car in the world is a P71, when viewed through your rear view mirror.

Not too bad, I love their Plymouth Satellite suggestion. That particular car is definitely scary (more pics - http://jalopnik.com/cars/down-on-the-street/1971-plymouth-satellite-with-bonus-apocalyptic-car-poll-297324.php)

Needs to be 1970s Ford Transit or GMC van on the list. A creepy looking, rusty one.

is It just me, or would half of these cars not be on the list if it was a color other than black?

I always thought that the Roadmonster had a happy look to it... Maybe thats just cause it was about the first car I can remember being in.

None of these are what I would call a SCARY car.

To me, a flat black, late '50s Chrysler product....preferably a HUGE Dodge or Plymouth with blackened windows, is scary.

Using the criteria of Jalopnik...a VERY scary car would be a Plymouth Superbird or Dodge Daytona. Imagine that coming at you down the interstate at a seriously high rate of speed.

I don't think any of those are really "scary"? I guess the Rolls looks like a villains car from a Micheal Keaton Batman movie, but not really scary. If I had to suggest a spooky car I'd say a flat black SLR. The fact it sounds like an airplane helps a little bit.

I still get some brake lights when I come up behind someone in my 96 impala SS. Some people still have that instinct reaction even though most PDs stopped using B-bodies years ago.
