Last year was the 100th anniversary of Aston Martin, one of the worlds most recognised car brands. Their reputation is staggering, and I'm sure they've got another 100 years of top quality cars to give us.
They celebrated their 100th anniversary in style, amongst other things, creating the CC100 concept car, being unveiled at the Nürburgring 24 hour race in 2013: Aston Martin Celebrate 100 Years of History
Across the 100 years, what's your favourite Aston Martin model that you've seen? And do you think they have the potential to succeed for another 100 years?
Well, they certainly are attempting some viral marketing, with posts like this.

With AMG building the motors and transmissions for the next gen cars, ruining what makes them special IMO. The styling being stuck, the interiors as well. Plus basically no cash in-house this is literately the most that they can afford at this time.
This coming from someone who has continually failed at buying a Vantage because every single one has manufacturer errors that have not been resolved before the warranties end. So yeah viral marketing might do it...

Considering the number of potential new Aston Martin buyers on this board, you can see why they came here.
But to be nice, my favorite Aston was the first V12 DB7. And I mean the actual first Aston V12 DB7. Lots of personal sastisfaction with that car. That car line was pretty special for me.

Viral marketing or not, any excuse to post pics is OK by me
It might be easier to say which is your least favorite, which is simply, none of them
So my cousin had one of these, and I lusted after it. Still want one, but this one is listed at $3,700 so I doubt it will ever happen. But this is the only Aston I have ever wanted.
This one:
and its cabrio stablemate.
The Lagondas were awful, the Jag based cars were not worth what they were asking by a long stretch. The new ones are cool and all, but like Ferrari and Jaguar they have lost their way, getting away from performance and over to geegaws gimcracks and whimmydiddles that add nothing but weight. A-M will survive another 100 years on the strength of the name but the cars themselves... I shed a tear.
As much as I like the DB4/DB5s, the DB9 is just so achingly beautiful, without the boy racer clutter of the DBS or taffy pull stretching of the Vanquish (though I'd kick neither out of the garage). Coupe or Volante, it's just perfection...
One of these days. I need to own one.
Zagato + Nurburgring = DROOOOL!

I always liked those, but nothing will beat the DB5 and when I saw it in Goldfinger for the first time.
