I've been hovering right around 200 the last 3-4 weeks. Up as high as 205, down as low as 197. It is crazy how much your weight can fluctuate. (Try weighing yourself at the end of a night of drinking beer... ). And I've been drinking way too much beer lately.

I need to get back on the horse and loose the next 5-10 lbs. I would have to get down to 184 for a "Normal" BMI, whatever that means.

So, didn't got the chance to post last week (having a Monday off kind of throws me...).

9/11/17 weight: 190.8 lbs

Goal: 180 lbs

To go (in 5 weeks...): 10.8 lbs

I did actually weigh myself last week, and was down a bit more than I was this week. Really do need to be making more of an effort with the Challenge coming up so quickly (both in my weight and vehicle... :P), but it's still an improvement from the start...

Been bad about keeping up reporting here...

  • 10/2/2017 Weight: 188.8 lbs
  • 10/20/2017 Goal: 180 lbs
  • To go: 8.8 lbs

There's roughly 18 days left to the Challenge... I'd need to lose .5 lbs a day in order to hit my goal weight, and I seriously doubt that's going to happen with spending much of my time over the next few weeks in the garage vs. at the gym (worth noting though that I've spent relatively little time in the gym the last few months anyway... SWMBO have largely decided we should probably just drop our gym membership as it's just wasted money- I do hope to pick up a cheap home gym though). But, even if I don't make the goal weight I'm still down around 10 lbs from the start, so that's at least an improvement...

215 this morning on the garage scale that I weigh all my car parts on.

Goal weight by challenge 195.

Well, I've seen the scale say 196 recently, but today wearing shorts and a hoodie (I think very similar to my dress for the original 215 weight) I am almost exactly 200. So like you I will probably not hit the exact goal of 195 by challenge, but I am close and I plan to get there soon. Keep going!

Yeah, I've lost all momentum for the last few weeks.

So, I will be restarting after the Challenge at this point. Goal: 250 or lest by next year's Challenge!

I haven't read the whole thread, but do you really need that left arm as much as you think you do?

I've had enough nose-bleeds (and food) to know that I can drive manual one handed pretty well. cheekywink

Yeah, no real way of making my goal- but still down a modest bit from the start, which is good enough for me. There's no real way my Challenge car is going to be competitive anyway, so a few extra pounds on me will not be much of an impediment.

Ironically, had I been able to work on the car over the last week like I'd have liked to be working on it I'd probably have made the weight I wanted to (because I'd have been working through meals and eating far less as a result).

In reply to Ashyukun :

I can verify it does work! Yesterday I sweated my butt off working on the challenge car and after I came in and showered I was 194.0. after dinner and about a half gallon of water, I was back to 197.8 or something right before bed.
