Congratulations, babies are kinda cool.
My first was something like 3 weeks early and the wifes' water broke when I'd been asleep for maybe 15 minutes (you know, the seriously disoriented stage). Off the the hospital for 12 hours of labor followed by a very quick caesarian.
Then a bluish baby who needed to go to the nearby big city NICU, an unconscious wife, and all the decisions in the world for a slightly delirous new dad. But all turned out well. And today I have two very cool kids to show for all the effort. 
Congrats! That means that he will still be a young buck, able to lift heavy things and take lids off stubborn pickle jars when youre old and feeble, and cant wipe up after yourself anymore...live in elderly help, BONUS!!!
Jokes aside, hope everythings good with the family - wife is ok, and the new kid on the block has 10 fingers and toes, and all the parts in between are where they belong.
Wait a minute Sper, a couple of those aren't that bad...
