correct.
I'm listening to Pandora as I type. I've had a subscription to Pandora One for about 4 years. It used to be $36 for a whole year. I think its like $4.95 a month now. No ads and better streaming quality. There is still a limit on the number of "skips" though. I think its 10 per hour.
As far as the app issues, go to settings-->applications-->applications manager-->Pandora. Hit "clear cache. If it doesn't fix it, hit go back into settings and hit "clear data". If it still doesn't fix it, uninstall Pandora and reinstall it.

I'm not sure if I want to thank you or beat you. My phone is going to run out of storage now.
I just checked out Amazon Prime Music. I've been a Prime member for years.
Clicked on "hard rock and metal". Saw Nickleback listed. berkeley no. Uninstalled.
Not sure if this is the issue or not, but I just read about a 40hr/month limit. Im listening to a lot of DNB/EDM stuff, which has pretty long tracks. Im not certain if I have bumped into that ceiling, or what the cycle restart is, but I could theoretically be close. I listen to Pandora for several hours a day, mostly to help kill the time I'm manacled to my computation device, and also when I work out, and often when I mow the grass and such. From what I read, theyre supposed to contact users before throttling their use, but I received no such notice.
I tried clearing Cache, data, and eventually un/reinstall...no joy. Like others, I stay put on Pandora because I have several good stations going, and I like the interface (well, in comparison, I guess I dislike it less...)
Hmmm....probably not worth $5 a month to go to "One", theyre already getting me to listen to ads (which have no trouble playing, shockingly enough). Just thought Id share the 40hr limit part. not sure if others have encountered this...read all about it here...
another more convoluted and labor intensive option....
Buy used CD's off amazon for cheap and rip them yourself at home.
its not as cheap as a streaming service...but its cheaper than buying cds new. You can get the whole CD for the cost of a few individual tracks if you were to buy them digitally. I probably go on a cd shopping spree every couple months or so.
You try to clear out the cache on the app. That should fix it. Settings then applications then there should be an options to clear the cache or memory off the app.
The other thing would be to uninstall then reinstall the app. My ancient android phone had that happen one or twice where an update didn't install quite right.
Spotify is a good alternative. I like both Pandora and Spotify for different musical moods.
