Sprint here - two lines, unlimited calls, text, data and no roaming fees, which is good because occasionally my phone says I'm roaming when I'm at home. Pretty sure my house doesn't move a substantial amount. Runs about 180 per month.

I gave Wallmart $80.00 for a burner smart phone two years ago. I go through about $200.00 a year in minutes and always seem to have more than enough text. I'm not a big data user... as a mater of fact, I don't think I have used any data for the past 6 months
Ours was about $200 for 3 iPhones and an iPad, with a generous data plan.
I now have 4 smart phones with unlimited voice and data for $32 ea, but that’s through my company. You don’t work for my company. 
Two iPhone5's and a tablet with Verizon. Unlimited text and talk. 4GB data shared per month with unused rolling over with 8 GB max( we seldom use over 1 GB a month). $107 a month.
