Heard a rebroadcast this weekend of a great interview NPR did with Alice Cooper (proof that even the edgiest rockers age into safe irrelevance). Asked about the infamous story that he'd once bitten the head off a live chicken onstage, Cooper recounted the true story, which sounded a lot like one of my favorite episodes of "WKRP in Cincinnati." (Cliff's Notes version: Chickens don't fly. He thought they did.) To top it off, Cooper said that his manager called the day after the concert and asked if he'd actually done the head-biting deed, and when he said "No!" his manager told him, "Don't tell anybody that, because people are eating it up."
He's a truly sharp, witty guy, and wth, I'd see him in concert. Matter of fact, one of my best friends is going to see this show in Jacksonville in a few weeks, and I'd be all over it if I wasn't already traveling that weekend.

And he is a good enough golfer to qualify for the professional senior tour. He really is a smart businessman, smart enough to keep himself relevant for over forty years as a performer

Favored him a little bit didn't he, he could sure play but he everything well although didn't have the presence of the other musicians
Although I do have to say, good thing it was their farewell tour Vince Neal may need to hang it up his voice just isn't there anymore. The crowd did most of the singing for him.
Looks like a good time! I saw the interview Alice did on Top Gear UK a while back. It went very well.
We went to an Aerosmith concert a little while back and Motley Crue opened for them. It was the single worst performance I've ever seen, they didn't even know the words to their own songs, much less be able to sing them.
Aerosmith was great though.

The other night it wasn't that vince didn't know the songs he just doesn't have the voice anymore. And he is quite out of shape compared to how he used to be, winded very quickly.
I used to sell Alice Cooper donuts. Very nice guy. Absolutely crazy about his wife and family. Is not aware (or just doesn't care) that you can't wear zebra stripe underwear under white golf shorts.
