I've just realized that if you're trying to play hockey by a deli but don't have a puck, all you need to do is buy a really thick slice of salami. The ice keeps it cold, so you can wash it off and eat it afterwards.

I have a ton of hockey pucks everywhere. They're like glitter. They just end up everywhere. I can see three from where I'm sitting now.
Would rather have some salami to be honest.
Calumet Rubber on Chicago's south side used to make hockey pucks for the NHL. The current owner has a complete set of the original teams.
The place smells awesome but it doesn't smell like salami.
FACT: You can also use a hockey puck to fill the hole in the intake of an LT-1 Caprice when you remove the home base baffle.
