Light up night at the mall was Friday. Santa shows up the week after trick or treat, every year.
Lowes I noticed displays and stuff back in August. Turning Xmas into a 6 month ordeal (August to February for returns and after xmas sales).
Hallmark channel took off home improvement for round the clock xmas stuff October 29..
Bah Humbug.
Don't get me wrong. I love Christmas, but I'm a firm believer in taking my time to enjoy the weeks leading up to Christmas. I still wait until the day after thanksgiving to put the tree and lights up.
Forget it, kid. You'll shoot your eye out!!!
I am just so glad I did not work in a place that believes in assaulting it's workers and customers with Christmas music 24/7 in the months leading up to the actual day
Plus the Black Friday sales now in effect.

I'm a firm believer in one holiday at a time, and as a man who loves football almost as much as he loves food, I wish Thanksgiving would get it's due.
It's a funny thing. It's one of those situations where literally everyone you hear from says that the stores start too early with this stuff. Yet, they wouldn't be doing it if people weren't buying stuff.
