Sorry for the brief outage.
We're fine. We're all fine here now, thank you. How are you?

I was FORCED to access some other part of the Internet, like some sort of regular person, to see if it was my connection or GRM. I was not happy when my worst fears were validated.
All better now though...
Glad to see we're back up now. I actually had to resort to going out in the garage and working on stuff this afternoon. I have freshly sanded Pacesetter headers, ready for paint. Gonna start tearing stuff off the truck tomorrow in preparation for installation and a new 32/36 weber carb.
I would have been better off if I had stayed out of the garage. I have just done the worst fab job I have ever done. I was better at this when I was just 15yo, I'm really embarrassed by my work, but too lazy to redo it
Yeah, sorry for the interruptions! Let's hope our host's provider is able to finally fend off this week's DDoS attacks. Been a bad one for a lot of the Internet.

I warned her, thats why the last one went away.
thats ok i'll just make everyone wait till tomorrow for a bathroom remodel update. i'm going to bed. i think i need a tooth extracted too. i now have more hatred for new car shopping than ever before. other than that, i'm great, thanks for asking!
I actually had to do stuff with the site down. Replaced the fuel sending unit on the malibooty, and helped my neighbor fix his caravan. It was awful.

well we are now ... at 3am we were also ... then it locked up again ... thanks for everyone's hard work ... the addiction is hard to deal with during long withdrawal periods

what are these DDoS attacks ? a quick glance in the googles, didn't lend much light to what it actually is .... just that they are getting worse
DoS attacks are Denial of Service, where many machines send packet requests, usually with some minor problem in them, to a server, which happily tries to reply to the request. If it's 10 requests, no problem. If it's 10 billion requests, problem. They get the malicious software put on unsuspecting people's computers via virus attacks, turning people's computers into 'bots', and then with a 'bot army' they can control thousands of computers to send the bad packets all at once to the victim server.
I was worried. But I did get a lot of wrenching done, like everyone else.
Maybe you should shut down the site over the weekends leading up to the challenge...
up and down ... over and over ... and it's affecting one other forum I go to ... hopefully it can be "fixed" by the time I'm able to get back on line ... I'll be totally off line for most if not all of next week .. no wifi at the hospital, and my phone is more dumb than smart, and usually doesn't work at this facility anyway ...
