Here ya go
Careful how you title these lol. A name with no "to the courtesy phone" or whatever, sometimes means that person has died. I died last year thanks to another member trying to tag me .
Mods can we change the name of this to AngryCorvair is NOT dead. Thanks. New engine is a 140 with a 270 cam. Built by a very nice guy in Iowa. Now that the lift is operational we will be dropping the tank to install the fuel pump for the fuel injection.

The wagon is on the financial back burner. It needs a LOT of work. Basically going to be a full tear down and rebuild. It is a neat car though. It's a 1956 sedan delivery wagon with Windows, originally ordered by the forest service.
I am not familiar with Corvairs, what is the square tube behind the license plate?
Beautiful car, I wish any of mine looked that good

That’s the “hood” latch
How about now? Is he dead now? Maybe a weekly update is in order.
220 hp? We are going to need some details. 220 from a stock of 120 ish is going to require some pretty exotic tweaks without boost. Is there boost in its future?

Well I would love to say it's mine but the corvair & the wagon are my dad's. Wagon has been in the family for about 25 years now ever since we bought it from a next door neighbor after helping build it. He's had that corvair for probably 6 years now? Maybe 7 or 8? As far as the engine build goes I'll ask about the particulars. All I know is there is an older guy in Iowa who builds 1 or 2 each year as winter projects. You basically only pay for parts and he's been building them for decades. It was a little over a $2500 build.

That's the plan. Those cars will not leave this family under my watch that's for sure. Honestly a HUGE part of why we moved back to Texas was because I never really got the chance to wrench on cars with my old man. Didn't want to spend the rest of my life regretting that.
