Russell Smith, US Army, veteran of D-Day and the European Campaigns of WWII, and recipient of three Purple Hearts, passed away on Wednesday, May 10, 2017.
He was a great many things to a great many people, but to me, he always was, and always will be: Grandfather.
Those of you who are so inclined, please raise a glass for another Citizen-warrior gone to Valhalla.
