Fewer trucks, fewer vendors, but still well worth the $1 entry fee.

The slammed Model B Mack makes me giggle.

Many farms didn't have electricity for a loooong time, these machines ran buzz saws, washing machines, everything.

My wife grew up on her grandmother's farm, no electricity, an outhouse and water in the kitchen was brought up by  a hand pump.   Very cold water!

Tiny diesel dozer.

A guy in Vermont is selling two Brockway trucks, $1700 for both.  I've been coveting those for a few years but have this airplane in the garage....

Please do not let my seven year old son find out that these things exist and might be for sale somewhere.

That looks like an old magnatrac, and yes you can still buy a new one. You used to be able to buy a kit and build it yourself. Probably how this one ended up with a diesel. Father son project?

Old Macks.  Farm show type events are waay better than car shows for these.

But wait, there's more!

Here ya go Java.  Guy's got two Brockways for $1700.  I wanted to make a giant Speedster out of one using some bits from the second one.  Picture slammed, toppless, underslung suspension, hump back trunk out back with two spares on a rack.

Hit and miss engines are pretty damn cool, very innovative for their day. A while back I went to a farm machinery auction hoping to snag one of the twenty hit and miss engines. Nope, the Amish showed up and bought every last one of 'em, they still work 'em. I will own one someday.

I'd rather attend an antique machinery show than any car show. A steam powered saw mill in an awesome sight.

That Mack rod is awesome.
