Doing a fly and drive this Thursday. Would you recommend a taxi or Uber for this going from Richmond VA International Airport to Midlothian VA? 21 miles from airport to dealership. Never used Uber and it has been several years since I was in a taxi.

My suggestion would be Uber over a taxi. There is a another option, James River Transportation shuttle service. Its been many years since I used them, but my experiences in the past were good. Probably have to call to make a reservation. The last time I used them, prices were similar to taxi but better service. Not sure how they compare now though.
I have friends/family that use uber quite a bit in that area. If the dealer will not transport, that'd be my suggestion. From the airport, a shuttle should be a doable option, as well... Popular path!
I use Uber on the reg. Download the app and try it around your house to get used to it. That will save you anxiety when you fly into a strange city. It will only cost you a few bucks for a short trial ride.

Uber should get the job done, i think it was ~$25 from the airport to my house on the north side of richmond, midlothian is slightly farther, but not much. Richmond airport is pretty painless to get through.
