Anyone know where to find modern clamps like this?

Looking for some for a project.

I've never seen those. 

Are vise grips not the answer to this problem? Get some cheap ones from the hammer store and file the teeth off if you need flat clamping faces.

I thought of these from photo lights.

I'm looking for a compact solution that isn't an over-center clamp, I was hoping to avoid something that would snap close and allow a more gentle clamp.  I was thinking about traditional c-clamps in a small size, but I'm also looking for something potentially with a vintage design.

Those might work.  I saw them on Amazon, but I didn't find them small enough to work with what I'm doing.

The Kant Twist brand has several smaller options.
