hehe Yeah love it when they make Chum shoot something and half the time he has that really worried look on his face like he thinks it will blow up in his hand.

Not guilty. I don't watch the shows in question. I've never seen a single episode, and I still think they're probably crap.

I DVR American Pickers and I will watch Pawn Stars if it is on. The Pawn show is fristrating because of all of the people that find out they ahve something worth some money and then sell it to the store for a fraction of what it is really worth, but it is not my stuff.

Did anyone see the Pawn Stars where a guy rolls up with a flatbed wrecker with a legit Shelby Cobra body and frame? Supposedly it came out of a storage locker and the guy with the wrecker was paid to get the car out of there.

I saw that one and was a bit amazed that the method to determine if it was legit, was looking at a number stamped on the front suspension frame. It seems like there has to more to is then that. That seems really easy to fake.

I was a bit dismayed to see that they put an incorrect engine in it, but it was probably the most practical way to flip it.

a lady tried to sell them a nice Lotus Europa in one episode. No deal made.

I'm not surprised by folks selling family heirlooms for survival..back when I was paying child support, I saw them in the pawn shop every week (especially when gas prices spiked). This whole thing about them doing so in public (on TV) for another few dollars mystifies me, tho. I guess that my own hardships pale in comparison to theirs, if they're willing to display their misery for the whole world to see.
