They're popping up like crazy:

Some foks remember the '91 CRX Si that I built for the $2003 Challenge. After the challenge I drove it for 3 years and 50K miles with few changes. I sold it in '06 for $4500. It has since changed hands 2 more times, for more money each time I believe.
That's really weird, if that were in Central Florida they most likely would have all been stolen by a group of individuals and same individuals selling. It's dangerous owning an older Honda here.
Is it wrong to REALLY want this?

I have a thing for LS Vtec EKs.
I saw that too! I'm still trying to wheel and deal with this kid about his EK coupe. He said he was drunk when he told me $400 for the car, I called shenanigans on him and he said ok $400, but I told him I want it for $350 now for lying.

My roomate had a 1998 EX Coupe. Started out life as an automatic transmission D16Y8. He turned it into one of the most beautiful Hondas i think i've ever seen.
Left the factory silver, did a nice basic suspension, on some gunmetal 16s. Did the full Si-R exterior conversion with the correct in bumper square yellow fogs, had a DC Sports muffler with the tip cut off, which looked REALLY good for some reason.
Decided he hated the D16Y8 one day. Put together an LS Vtec with some goodies in the head. Then proceeded to spray a 125 shot on it. FAST. AS. HELL. Ran a 12.5 @ 118 on street tires.
Sold it when he found out he had a kid on the way, parted out the motor, and sold it to a buddy with a B20 in it.
The car has gone to complete and utter E36 M3. Kid sold the Si-R bumper to make an insurance payment and hasn't replaced it. Has an exhaust leak from hell, and it hasn't been washed in a year. Breaks my heart, and his.
I want an EK Coupe, JUST because of that car.
My next short term project for a daily will either be an EK coupe w/ a B-series, or a 20v AE92 Corolla.

Thanks for the offer, but i'll pass.... it's nice to look at and dream about, but for my purposes i'd rather an n/a LSV.

It is..... It's got an EM1 facelift. (ALPHABET SOUP!)
They ARE different, and it's a pretty desirable setup among most of the Hondur crowd. Personally, i would rather the 96-98 style, but that's just me.
Duke wrote: It's listed as a '99 coupe. So wouldn't that have come with the 99-00 parts...?
Well i'll be... seems i missed that.
Maybe they're new? I have no idea now...

No, but it's wrong to give any serious thought to spending 7500 bucks for it. Every idiot and his brother has a 5,000hp civic that "just needs a tune." My $.02

I'd consider $5k for it. I can have my buddy tune it assuming it's on Crome. And if it's not, it would be.
