After exhausting (pardon the pun) all other options to find a complete exhaust pipe assembly, I am going to order a flex pipe and have a muffler shop repair the existing pipe.
BUT
Universal flex pipes are either 2" or 1.75" diameter. I don't have the car right now, so I can't measure and see if either will fit. Any MK1 owners out there know the right diameter?
Someone must know!
Will measure when I get home this afternoon.

Haha I got it from advance, which is why I linked those two for you. I hadn't realized they'd been discontinued. I did try to get the part number in the picture, maybe call walker directly and see if they could still get one?
