Last place I worked had urinals in the men's bathroom that were about 10" apart and had no divider.
You were literally shoulder to shoulder with the dude pissing next to you. Splash back was a concern.
I'm still surprised YMCA locker rooms are built with common shower areas. You want to talk about swinging your junk around in public...jeesh!
Obligatory rant about urinal height. I understand that the floor mounted ones cost more money but they are SOOO much better. Instead we get the hang-on-the-wall kind that gets mounted so low your hootus is above the top. Apparently this is for small children and vertically challenged folks.
